CHAPTER 20

MORRIGAN

Training with only Jasper and Justice around meant hanging out with both of them all day and night long. They called it “application of practical power usage,” but really it was an excuse for us all to sit back and breathe together. Well, without Jax. He hadn’t talked to me at all since the night when we somewhat sext each other. The images I was getting through were pretty clear, at least.

I had left the doorway open just in case, which meant resisting my other boys. We needed it, though. We needed some time together without sex on the mind, which was nearly impossible. Justice said that as a demon, I would crave and need sex the same way one does food. It was a main part of our power source. I sure had quite the appetite for blood since bringing the sex down. It had quenched my thirst, but there was always a lingering hunger.

Jasper whimpered whenever I bit him, but not from the pain. No, my physical distance hit him hardest, since he hasn’t gotten more than the one time with me. I assured him that since this week’s rest day was his, I would be sure to reward him for being so strong. I agreed with him, though, too. Sex needed to happen soon.

Getting to live with the boys this week has really helped to bring us a lot closer. I even made a room off the war room into a kind of cuddle spot. Hell hooked us up with a wall-to-wall bed, full of all the pillows and blankets Justice could ever dream of. There was even a tv on the wall and a stack of DVDs that worked the same way the bookshelves did. Justice happily sat through a binge of Supernatural.

Jasper was more into playing video games. The type where you have a gun and shoot people. Apparently, demons all over Hell were into them too, so they played together. Jasper’s team consisted of three other demons, and they would meet up sometimes outside the game and get a drink. After watching for a few rounds, I asked if I could take a turn at it. My goal was one kill.

I didn’t even get one, but I had unfortunately talked enough shit to these guys that they decided they needed to meet me. Jasper supplied it would make a great rest day evening date. Which led to me sitting nervously in my room, trying to figure out what to wear.

I had set an alarm, knowing that Jasper was an early riser. He had said he had the whole day planned out for me from beginning to end. Problem was, he didn’t want to tell me anything other than I knew at some point he was going to introduce me to his friends. I decided with all the shit talking I threw; I may as well go with bad ass bitch for the looks department.

I wiggled my ass into some black leggings and then threw a torn band t-shirt over my red tank.
